God made you stronger ....

God didn't make you stronger than others
so you could hurt them.
God made you stronger than others
so you can help them.

From all their distress God rescues the just

Psalm 34:1-6

I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!
I sought the Lord, and he answered me,
and delivered me from all my fears.
Look to him, and be radiant;
so your faces shall never be ashamed.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles.

God's Will is always for the BEST

GOD can RAISE someone
from NOTHING into SOMETHING
and vice-versa.
GOD is the one who created us
in our mother's womb,
and He knows what's BEST for us.
Whatever His will may be,
it is always for our BEST.
And I say AMEN
to whatever His Will may be for me.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.

God Of Mercy and Compassion

God of mercy and compassion, look with pity upon me
Father let me call Thee Father 'tis this child returns to Thee

Jesus Lord, I ask for mercy, let me not implore in vain
All my sins I now detest them, never will I sin again.

By my sins I have deserved death, and endless misery
Hell with all its pains and torments, for all eternity.

Jesus Lord, I ask for mercy, let me not implore in vain
All my sins I now detest them, never will I sin again.

By my sins I have abandoned, right and claim to Heaven above
Where the Saints rejoice for ever, in a boundless sea of love.

Jesus Lord, I ask for mercy, let me not implore in vain
All my sins I now detest them, never will I sin again.

See our Savior bleeding, dying, on the cross of Calvary
To that cross my sins have nailed Him, yet He bleeds and dies for me.

Jesus Lord, I ask for mercy, let me not implore in vain
All my sins I now detest them, never will I sin again.

"God always forgives!" ~ Pope Francis

Pope Francis again encourages us to go to confession. Some times it is hard, but that is part of the remedy.

Pope Francis said confession is not a judgement but a meeting with God who forgives all our sins, without exception. Basing his reflections on an extract from St Pauls letter to the Hebrews, the Pope said our God forgives all our sins, always and without exception and He rejoices when somebody asks him for pardon. This God who pardons us, he continued, choose Jesus to set up a new pact with humanity and the cornerstone of this pact is forgiveness for our sins.

First of all, God always forgives us. He never tires of this. Its we who get tired of asking for forgiveness. But He does not tire of pardoning us. When Peter asked Jesus: How many times must I forgive? Seven times? Not seven times: seventy times by seven. Namely always. Thats how God forgives us: always. But if you have lived a life full of so many sins, so many bad things, but in the end, a bit repentant, you ask for forgiveness, He will immediately pardon you! He always pardons us.

Pope Francis said a doubt can arrive in a persons heart over how far God is prepared to forgive us. But, he stressed, all you have to do is repent and ask for forgiveness and you dont have to pay because Christ has already paid on our behalf.

The Pope went on to describe how God rejoices when somebody asks for forgiveness and at the same time He forgets or wipes out from his memory our sins. The reason for this, he explained, is because what matters for God is for us to meet with him. Confession is not a judgement but a meeting with God.

God is waiting for us, come back to the Lord

God is always waiting for us, come back to the Lord, for His goodness is immeasurable. God has been good and will always be good. He is forgiving and not vengeful of our sin, yet  He is full of mercy, compassion, and love. God is opening doors that we never dreamed possible, as we allow ourselves to arise, shine and let the glory of the Lord to touch and transform our lives. His attributes, His presence and His person will shine within and through us. Therefore, repent and be converted, so that all your sin will be taken away and we shall be refreshed by the Lord presence in our life once again.

John 8:12
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

Daniel 9:9
To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against him.

Luke 15:1-10
The Parable of the Lost Sheep
15 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.
3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesnt he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep. 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

The Parable of the Lost Coin
8 Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesnt she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin. 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.

Romans 5:8
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Matthew 11:29-30
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

1 John 3:1-10
3 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning.No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devils work. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because Gods seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not Gods child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

Hebrew 10:17
I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.

Look at GOD

Look back and Thank GOD.
Look forward and Trust GOD.
Look around and Serve GOD.
Look within and Invite GOD.

Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me,
when you seek me with all your heart.

Deuteronomy 4:29
But from there you will seek the Lord your God
and you will find him,
if you search after him with all your heart
and with all your soul.

Proverbs 8:17
I love those who love me,
and those who seek me diligently find me.

Romans 10:17
So faith comes from hearing,
and hearing through the word of Christ.

God is our refuge and strength. and help in trouble - Psalm 46

God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change,
though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea;
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble with its tumult.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God will help her right early.
The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our refuge.
Come, behold the works of the LORD,
how he has wrought desolations in the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow, and shatters the spear,
he burns the chariots with fire!
Be still, and know that I am God.
I am exalted among the nations,
I am exalted in the earth!
The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Give up control of our lives and let God lead, He knows what's BEST for us

Matthew 10:39
Whoever finds their life will lose it,
and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.

Matthew 16:25
Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves
 and take up their cross and follow me.
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it,
but whoever loses their life for me will find it.

Mark 8:35
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it,
but whoever loses their life for me
and for the gospel will save it.

Luke 9:24
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it,
but whoever loses their life for me will save it.

Luke 17:33
Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it,
and whoever loses their life will preserve it.

John 12:25
Anyone who loves their life will lose it,
while anyone who hates their life in this world
will keep it for eternal life.

By sacrificing our pride and asking God for directions, we find our life. Initially, it might not be something that we want to do but soon enough we will catch a glimpse of reality and our desires will change.Self-denial is for the sake of Christ and the gospel, for a better life. If we hold on to the temporal, we lose the eternal whereas by sacrificing everything we can know, we gain unimaginable riches and only by following Jesus we can be assured of this.

Matthew 19:21
If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.

We must be prepared to give up everything for his sake if we are to achieve life in perfection of Jesus Christ, for all other things are distractions. Always put Jesus Christ, who is one with the Father, above all things and make sure that He is the center of our lives, and in all we do.

Love God and love the people around you.

The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.

And the second is, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
There is none other commandment greater than these.

Below we observe, a beautiful divine/human moment in which Jesus responds in a totally human way while expressing the amazing love and grace of God. Jesus demonstrate 'Empathy' which is brings out the his feeling of compassion towards the mother's grief for her only son. Empathy is when we allow ourselves for a moment to feel what that person might be feeling.

Luke 7:11-17

11 Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. 12 As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried outthe only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, Dont cry.
14 Then he went up and touched the bier they were carrying him on, and the bearers stood still. He said, Young man, I say to you, get up! 15 The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.
16 They were all filled with awe and praised God. A great prophet has appeared among us, they said. God has come to help his people. 17 This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country.

Humble yourselves to God and Cast your Anxieties on Him

1 Peter 5: 5 - 14

5Likewise you that are younger be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that in due time he may exalt you.
7Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you.
8Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour.
9Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experience of suffering is required of your brotherhood throughout the world.
10And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you.
11To him be the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

James 4:10

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

Psalms 37:5

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:

Jeremiah 1:8
Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you, declares the Lord.

God Is Our Hope

God is our hope and strength,
a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will we not fear, though the earth be moved,
and though the hills be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though the waters thereof rage and swell,
and though the mountains shake at the tempest of the same.

There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God,
the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.

Mother of God "Salus Populi Romani"

Queen of Heaven rejoice, alleluia;
the Son Whom you merited to bear, alleluia;
has risen as He said, alleluia;
pray for us to God, alleluia;
rejoice and be glad,
Oh, Virgin Mary,
for the Lord is truly risen, alleluia.

Salus Populi Romani, meaning Protectress (literally salvation or health of the Roman People) is the title given in the 19th century to the Byzantine icon of the Madonna and Child, reputed to date to Early Christian times, in the Borghese or Pauline Chapel of the 5th-century Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome.
The Basilica, the oldest in the West dedicated to the Mother of God, and this icon, are the Churchs popular expression of the Councils theological response to that heresy, Jesus is God from all ages, who became a man in the womb of Mary.

On either side of the Virgins head are two Greek abbreviations, identifying, on the left the Greek letters for M-R and on the right, Th-U being abbreviations for Mother of God: She is stately in her bearing, yet not aloof from us. She is dressed simply yet elegantly in a dark blue mantle over a russet and gold tunic. In her hand, she grasps an embroidered handkerchief, similar to those first carried by women of the Roman senatorial class and, in the late Empire, only by the Roman empress. The later suggests the early Churchs belief that she is the Second Eve and the Queen of Heaven.
The golden star on her shoulder tells us that she is the Immaculate Conception, the woman preserved by God from Adams Original Sin, so she could be the sinless Virgin in whose womb the Eternal Son of the Father joined Himself to our human nature in a human body and soul. The golden cross on her forehead tells us that she is the Mother of the Eternal Son who became man in order to die for humanitys sins, Mary is the virgin mother of the Incarnate and Crucified Lord. She gently holds and protects Her Son, encircling Him with both hands.
The Infant sits comfortably and securely on His Mothers lap, holding the Book of the Gospels, with His right hand raised to bless us. But He first looks up to His Mother, as if seeking her permission to bless those looking at the icon. She looks out to us, inviting us to enter into the Divine Love of God made visible in Her Son, as a sign that it would be the polite thing to do if He would bless us who have come to visit Mother and Son.
The Infant Jesus with his fingers forming the Greek word FishIxthus. In the ancient Church, both in the east and the west, the fish was both a symbol of Jesus and a creedal expression of faith. For each letter of Ixthus stands for the first letter of each word in the Greek sentence: Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior. In this icon, Our Lord raises His right hand to bless us with His power as the Incarnate Son of God, the Savior, and not merely as a child or even as a prince.
Pray for Our Holy Father, that the Mother of God and Her Divine Son, might strengthen him as he continues the work of Saint Peter for His people worldwide.

and help us to become one in faith and praise.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

...Who can forgive sins but God only?

" ...Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Rise and walk?' But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins" ..."I say to you, rise, take up your bed and go home."
~ Luke 5:17-26 ~

"Lord Jesus, through your merciful love and forgiveness you bring healing and restoration to body, soul, and mind. May your healing power and love touch every area of my life my innermost thoughts, feelings, attitudes, and memories. Pardon my offences and transform me in the power of your Holy Spirit that I may walk confidently in your truth and righteousness."

God Exist, and it is no laughing matter

The image may tickle our mind, funny but we need recall there is a GOD, who is Almighty, righteous and just.

Jeremiah 14

The Lord has spoke to me through a friend and His Word.

Jeremiah 14 is in the natural, speaking of drought and famine. The Lord has showed me what the spiritual meaning is and it is frightening.

I wrote a post last year call "It is So", in the post the Lord showed me that He would be removing His Spirit from the land. Now, He, has again, confirmed this word.

The famine, is the removing of the Holy Spirit from this land. We look for the Spirit and long for the Spirit, but He is pulling away. He is not pulling away from us spiritually, but from the land.

We shout repentance, but the Lord has said to me "Your repentance means nothing without humility and you have forgotten how to be humble."

7 Although our sins testify against us,
O LORD, do something for the sake of your name.
For our backsliding is great;
we have sinned against you.

8 O Hope of Israel,
its Savior in times of distress,
why are you like a stranger in the land,
like a traveler who stays only a night?

A taste here and there, of the Holy Spirit, is not enough, but we settle for it. The church is complacent. We settle in every arena of life and spirituality for less than fullness. Where is our fear of the Lord?

10 This is what the LORD says about this people:
"They greatly love to wander;
they do not restrain their feet.
So the LORD does not accept them;
he will now remember their wickedness
and punish them for their sins."

I have said in the past to consider what God wants before you pray. You may be just praying against the will of God.

11 Then the LORD said to me, "Do not pray for the well-being of this people. 12 Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry; though they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword, famine and plague."

There comes a time, in the love of God, when even He, has had enough. The Lord has shown me, that enough is enough. The church, most, do not want to hear this word. It is easier to stay in their business instead of moving into the Spirit. It is easier to play Christian than to walk it. It is easier to flow with the stream than to flow against the tide. We have been warned through His word and through His prophets that He has grown tired of our playing Christian and yet we continue to be disobedient.

I grieve most often. It took my husbands mouth for me to figure it out. I grieve the loss of the Spirit in the land. I can feel Him leaving. I can feel the sin and depravity of that loss and I would like nothing more than to go with the Spirit.

Do you continue to walk in blatant sin. Has the Lord told you something or convicted you of something and you continue in your earthly contentment. We seem to listen to God and feel the conviction, but then with time we, again, grow complacent. We no longer humble ourselves to do the hard stuff.

Do you not understand that there is not enough time left for you to be fooling around with the Lord. NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!

Jeremiah 14 says it all. We are a fallen people in a land where the church does not care, any longer, about the things outside of the church. We, some how, have come into the idea, that, that stuff will not touch me. Please, listen, you have a responsibility to pray, spread the Word and to stand up against those things that are not of God.

It will get harder. But, if you can not stand up now, what will it be for you in the era to come. Build up your spiritual strength or you will be left behind and wonder why.
