Everyone is gifted, but some people never open their package ....

We all have a talent, a purpose, a gift that needs discovering, no one person in this universe has been robbed of this, really put some thought into it, your life, your dreams, what is your hearts true calling, what makes your spirit sing and dance, what creates a smile so strongly that it hurts your face, where do you go when you dream at night, its all there waiting to be discovered in the depth of our souls; some of us just need to be reminded on how to get there. Pray for the people of Philippines, Heal the victims Lord JESUS

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come and pray to You for the people of

Philippines who have suffered so much

devastation, so many lives have been lost and

so many families have lost their loved ones.

Please co-ordinate the rescue and relief

efforts to those that are affected the most,

please touch the hearts of people and nations

around the world to help with food, clean

water and medical supplies that are so

desperately needed.

Please also bring comfort and support to the

grieving families who have lost everything,

their loved ones, their means of survival, and

their hope to go on.

This I seek and pray for in Jesus Mighty name.

Amen.

Prayer for all Poor, Homeless, and Neglected People

O GOD, Almighty and merciful, 

who heals those that are broken in heart, 

and turns the sadness of the sorrowful to joy; 

Let your fatherly goodness 

be upon all 

that you have made. 

Remember in pity those who are this day 

destitute, homeless, or forgotten 

by their fellow men. 

Bless the congregation of your poor. 

Uplift those who are cast down. 

For those who suffer innocently, 

I pray that you will sanctify their endurance 

of the wrongs worked on them, 

keeping their hearts free of bitterness. 

Cheer with hope all 

discouraged and unhappy people, 

and help those who are tempted 

into sin by their poverty; 

though they be troubled on every side, 

suffer them not to be distressed; 

though they be perplexed, 

save them from despair. 

Grant this, O Lord, 

for the love of him, 

who for our sakes endured poverty 

and blameless suffering, 

your Son, our Jesus Christ.

Love God and love the people around you.

The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.

And the second is, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 

There is none other commandment greater than these.

Below we observe, a beautiful divine/human moment in which Jesus responds in a totally human way while expressing the amazing love and grace of God. Jesus demonstrate 'Empathy' which is brings out the his feeling of compassion towards the mother's grief for her only son. Empathy is when we allow ourselves for a moment to feel what that person might be feeling.

Luke 7:11-17

11 Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. 12 As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out�the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, �Don�t cry.�

14 Then he went up and touched the bier they were carrying him on, and the bearers stood still. He said, �Young man, I say to you, get up!� 15 The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.

16 They were all filled with awe and praised God. �A great prophet has appeared among us,� they said. �God has come to help his people.� 17 This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country.
